ECUL is administered in the Apostolic form of leadership. This means that leadership is by example. Leaders seek a vision from God and motivate others to follow, thereby drawing them to God.
The National Council (NCC), District Councils (DCC), and Local Church Councils (LCC) govern the Union. Except for the National Council, each Council operates semi-autonomously, making plans and determinations that best serve the needs of their regions.
The NCC is selected by the general conference for a five year term. The DCC and LCC are selected by their constituents for five year terms.
The National Chairman heads the NCC, and serves as the principal spokesman for the Union. The Executive committee assists him in all his functions. They work as a team.
